Details:
Here is our August event lineup. We hope you'll be able to join us. Some details are still being determined and we will update you as they become finalized.

Friday: On Friday evening, Aug. 1, we are planning to have an informal mixer/ice breaker on the patio at Kelly’s Brew Pub for all who can attend. The event will begin around 5 p.m. and run until they kick us out. Kelly’s is a restaurant and micro-brewery, so those who want to drop by with their kids can. Attendees will have to pay for their own food and drinks. Kelly’s is located at 3222 Central Ave. SE.

Saturday: On Saturday, Aug. 2, we are planning to have a picnic at Mariposa Park from noon to 4 p.m. so everyone can hang out and meet each others' families. The park is located in the Taylor Ranch area on Albuquerque's West Side. The park has a basketball court, volleyball court, baseball and soccer fields, horseshoe pits, two playground areas, and picnic tables. There is no charge for the picnic. (If you plan to attend the picnic but not the reception, please let us know in advance.)

Saturday: For adults (14 years and older): On Saturday, Aug. 2, we will meet from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Rio Grande Inn in Historic Downtown Albuquerque for a reception that includes hors d'ouvres, a DJ spinning '80s music, and a cash bar. The cost for this event will be $36 per adult. If you're coming from out of town and plan on driving home that evening, free soft drinks will be provided for all designated drivers. If you are planning to stay overnight, we have arranged for a block of rooms at the Rio Grande Inn for $80 plus tax. Of course, if you have friends or relatives in the Albuquerque area, you might arrange lodging and/or childcare with them for the night.

Because we need to have an accurate count of the people who will be attending, and because we are contractually obligated to pay for use of the banquet hall before the event, we are discouraging walk-in payments and registration.
