Hello Lake Howell Class of '78!

We are currently trying to finalize plans for a memorable 30 year reunion with the tentative dates of Friday and Saturday, August 15 & 16, 2008!! (Unfortunately, the Pleasure Island June 15 reunion event that David (Lemaster) O'Laighin scheduled was canceled.)

Our tentative weekend plans:

Friday
2:00 - 4:00 at LHHS check in/tour school.
4:00 - 5:00 Pep Rally in the gym, welcome back hopefully from some of our old administration and teachers, spirit cheers from our cheerleaders, etc.
7:00 - 11:00 at Oviedo High for an informal gathering with the class of '77...back together where it all started! Music, slide show, hor'dourves, etc.

Saturday
12:00 - 4:00 poolside of hotel... visit with friends and families, pool volleyball, limbo, karaoke, music, etc.
6:00 - 7:00 Cocktail hour
7:00 - 11:00 Dinner and dance with slide show, awards, pictures, etc.

We are looking for people's talents to make up seven committees: Decorating, Music/Activities, Photo/Video, Contacts/Communication, Facilities, Food/Refreshments, Registration/Welcome. Each committee will needs a chair and several people to complete the list of tasks. Please let us know if you are interested in helping us on any of the committees.

We are also looking for a volunteer to set up a LHHS1978 site...nothing fancy...simple...we just want to have a central place to communicate and post information.

Although, we will have a contact committee to track people down, starting with the LHHS 20th directory, we are starting an email chain....forward this email to all classmates you know, copying back to mollyreedy@aol.com, they in turn, forward the email to all classmates they know, again copying back to mollyreedy@aol.com. And the chain continues. This may help fill the gaps of missing or outdated contact information from the directory. Also, this will enable us to create a group address book, making communication much easier!

Please forward this email to every LHHS '78 classmate you know. Be sure each email is copied to mollyreedy@aol.com.

Also, please send us any information you may have on any LHHS '78 classmate which you feel might assist the Contact committee in their detective work. We really would love to have everyone accounted for!
