What! You've never been to a Summer Blast Party! OH MY! Well, let me tell you a little bit about it. This is a yearly event that has been happening for more than  a decade now. Started by a few friends from the old neighborhood this party has grown to hundreds of friends and fellow classmates that grew up in the area surrounding Henry Ford High School. From west of Telegraph to east of Southfield, from 7 mile to 8 mile. Friends that attended the elementary, junior highs and of course Henry Ford High. Most are grads from the late 60's through the 70's. This is a fun filled afternoon for the whole family. Reminisce with old friends that you haven't seen in years. It really is a blast.

It is held in Hines Park at the Riverside Pavilion.

What to bring? Bring you lounge chairs and picnic lunch and drinks. There are grills for cooking or bring your own. Pictures from the past, yearbook and letter jacket. There are horseshoes and volleyball and play sets for the kids.
